Khalif El-Amin (@khalifelamin10) is the co-founder of Young Enterprising Society (YES), which is a project management company based in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to his work with YES, Khalif was the Assistant to the CEO at New Horizon Center, Inc. New Horizon is a social service agency which has helped thousands of children and families in WI since 1985.Khalif is a native of Milwaukee, WI. During his high school career he was a standout basketball player for the perennial powerhouse Rufus King International High School. As a result from his work ethic, talent and ability to lead and motivate others, Khalif was selected to be the team captain during his junior and senior years where King won back to back WIAA Division 1 State Championships. During his senior year at King, he was awarded by opposing coaches as the Phillip Gayle Student-Athlete of the Milwaukee City Conference.Khalif went on to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing collegiate basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he graduated with a Sociology degree. At UW-Stevens Point, Khalif continued to excel on and off the court earning 1st team All-Conference honors, Team MVP as a senior and a list of other awards and titles.Khalif is currently in his 4th season as Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Nicolet High School. Nicolet won its first WIAA boys basketball state championship in 2019. Prior to joining the staff at Nicolet, Khalif was Varsity Assistant at Dominican HS where he helped coached the program to back to back WIAA State Championships in 2015 & 2016. Khalif also serves as the VP of Programs for John H.
